Who is responsible
MyCookingFeed is operated by Mycookingfeed UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Reerer Damm 14, 27337 Blender, Germany ("MyCookingFeed", "we", "us"). You can contact us at support@mycookingfeed.com.
Data we process
- Account and profile data: account identifiers, email address, display name, profile image and sign-in provider.
- App activity and preferences: followed or favourite creators, saved recipes, food and measurement preferences, comments and similar interactions.
- Creator content and connections: recipes, images, videos and creator profile data, plus connection identifiers and authorisations when a creator links a supported third-party channel.
- Purchases and creator programme data: app-store transaction and subscription-entitlement identifiers, creator eligibility, earnings, connected PayPal account identifiers, verified recipient email, account verification and payout status. App stores process purchases and PayPal manages its payment accounts and linked bank details under their own privacy terms. Connecting PayPal does not replace any separate creator information we must process for our legal or tax obligations.
- Technical data: IP address, device and app information, request logs, error information and security signals.
Why we process data
We use this data to authenticate users, provide and synchronise the app, personalise recipe discovery, host creator content, process authorised content into recipe data, provide subscription access, calculate creator compensation, support users, protect the service and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the activity, processing is based on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent where required, or a legal obligation.
Service providers and sharing
We use specialist providers for hosting, databases, authentication, app distribution, subscription entitlement management, creator payouts, analytics necessary to operate the service and creator-authorised content processing. These may include Google, Apple, Supabase, Render, RevenueCat and PayPal. YouTube or Meta services are involved only when a creator connects the relevant account. AI service providers may process creator-authorised source material to produce recipe drafts and related assets.
We share only the data needed for these services, legal compliance, fraud prevention or protection of rights. We do not sell personal data and the app does not serve third-party advertising. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, protect it and meet legal obligations. When an account-deletion request is completed, personal data is deleted or anonymised unless a limited record must be retained for legal, tax, fraud, security or dispute purposes. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are overwritten.

Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and you may withdraw consent for future processing. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact support@mycookingfeed.com to exercise these rights.
Children
MyCookingFeed is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child provided personal data to us, please contact us so that we can investigate and remove it where required.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
